Oh sick! I’ll look into this more. I see you mentioned Plan9 in your bio. That is one level of Unix I haven’t dabbled in yet, have you messed around with 9front? I’ve always been intrigued at their commitment to maintaining an authentic Plan9 experience while adding support for modern hardware.
To my fellow nerds, does anyone know what the gui is? It definitely looks like an old school window manager. I’ve played around with the standard Xorg one that no one uses outside of a pure openBSD install as well as fvwm but I don’t think it’s quite either of them.

The biggest out of the box difference on desktop is that openBSD has a working X system and session manager out of the box. It's a very bare bones ones, but it is there. Freebsd is a fully functional CLI system post install. Setting up a GUI is simple, just not pre-installed.

Also, Chattanooga is dope, definitely one of the cooler places if you want to stay in the south.
Seconding Blowback, definitely quantity over quality with this one. Season 3 really blew my mind when I finally learned how awful the Korean War was. They deem it to be less of a war and more of a genocide, it really put into perspective why the DPRK is so bent on defense and isolation.

100% agree, Knowledge Fight is honestly my favorite podcast because it keeps me in touch with the latest right wing Mindrot but Dan is too charitable. Jordan's heart is honestly in the right place for the most part.

I live in a state that will likely never come close to voting anything other than republican within my lifetime. I personally show up to vote for local elections and vote for whatever socialist presidential nominee out of spite.
While my politics are ML I would consider voting for someone like Bernie again because I still find it favorable to the alternative.
