I never power down my laptop. I would treat a mini the same. Power consumption is also very similar to that of a MacBook. So this is really not a big deal.

Ah yes that much be the amount of money they will make with getting more drivers by this lie. I’m sure no big company would dare again to do something like this. It’s just not worth it.
