I think not, because sonarr and radarr webUI is pretty slow on our machine, which definitely is not weak at all (we have server grade CPU and over 100gb of RAM. RAM is the biggest bottleneck for us right now, but we have to upgrade CPU in order to be able to handle more RAM.
For German release it is often so that the 720p version has only german since there are a lot who want file size as small as possible. If you go for 1080 or 4k, almost all german releases have the original language audio track as well. For usenet, there is a specific indexer with a lot of german releases. It is tied to the main german usenet forum 😉
For torrents, I’m sure, there are such Indexer as well. I don’t know how it is for other languages

I started using linux as my mac got unusable with macOS First touch with Linux I had in Work, i test our products which run on an embedded Linux yocto build.
Now, my phone and my buisness windows are now the only proprietary OSs I use (have a pinePhone, bit it is not daily drivable for me)
Now I have the old macbookpro5,2 running Arch and my iMac running openSuse TW. For my smart home, I have a pi Zero 2W running hombridge via hoobs. Ah yea and a router on a board that I got from a friend running on OpnSense. With him I have a proxmox server running.

First real terminal contact (except for limited use in macOS) I had working at a company which now uses embedded Linux in their product. After that I got in a situation where I had no computing device with admin rights running anymore. iPhone, iPad, corporate locked windows. Once there was the day I needed admin again, so I went searching and found an old iMac lying around, macOS was barley useable (low spec) and I just managed to create a bootable stick with it. Fast forward 2 years, I now have the old iMac of my dad with better specs running tumbleweed with Gnome, and I love it, with the right extensions, this frontend is very fun to use.
I saw no marketing for that one at all…

Have tried openSuse together with the community repo "packman"? OpenSuse was best distro with compatible driver yet.

Did you know that you can even sync your note using git and thus a git remote server for syncing? It even works with iOS 😃
With openSuse, there is a fast rolling version called tumbleweed and a slow rolling (major updates every 3month or so) in the future. The LTS style called leap will go EOL eventually (if I understood that correctly) I’m running tumbleweed with GNOME GUI, btw. and it feels very stable to me.
They should make a law that companies need to give root access to devices, where no security updates are provided anymore. That would great against eWaste..
