Comrades in Portland pressured the city council to sign a ceasefire resolution, and when they were ignored they shut down the meeting via disruption
Several Palestinian activists spoke via the council process and were ignored by all of the committee, not one word of response. Then some rando complained about bike lanes and the council pivoted to that and the spokesperson started ranting about bike lanes too. This was when the meeting was shut down by the protesters who shouted for ceasefire until everyone left and the meeting was ended.
Well Mexico obviously didn't have much say in it, they are completely vassalized and without sovereignty to just accept millions of people being population transferred onto them.
Republican voters are something like 70-80% in support of Israel's actions and our support of Israel. It's much lower among Democrats, like 40%. Republicans are actually all pro-Israel freaks, it's just completely unanimous so they don't bicker about it like Democrats do. It seems like Neoliberals are more pro-Israel because they're the ones bickering with the left half of their party most openly, they are the left-punching disciplining arm and they are fulfilling their role.
