I tried pointing that out to a family member and guess what - they did just take it away from Stalin by repeating the same tired bullshit that the USSR wouldn't have lasted without western help and so it was the western allies that really beat the nazis. Which is factually wrong and implies Soviet lives were worthless (could US guns shoot on their own?), but that's what you get when arguing with racists

The other day I saw a ukro-nazi in the wild. Wearing nazi-inspired apparel like we often see in the supposedly photoshopped images of Ukrainian nazis. Dude was many countries away from the frontline. Surreal to see them live here

While I agree with the sentiment that the player base of games like WarThunder is full of reactionary armchair generals cheering at every new weapons shipment for Ukraine like it's a football match, that word was really unnecessary and from what I've seen it's basically a new iteration of calling people autistic as an insult on places like 4chan and other incel/Gamer communities, which is what bothers me most - usually you can tell what communities some people frequent online based on the words they use, which in this case is one of the red flags I mentioned about the author

It also drops an ableist slur towards the end. Seems like one of these news sources that are full of red flags but unfortunately have some decent analysis as well

How does that work, is it a public server? Do you have any resources on Ukraine there by anu chance? I'm interested to read more about it and have some links on hand to show to friends/family, but so far most of my knowledge comes from this instance and some media like Geopolitical Economy Report, not exactly lib-friendly

I always viewed this as "it's way more difficult for the empire to justify what it does in Palestine than in Ukraine".
