I think a similar thing happened between fanaticus.social and lemmy.world but I’m not sure what they did to fix it.

I would’ve done 3 straight screens after that one first down. You didn’t need many yards and you wanted to burn as much time as possible. The play calling at the end of this game bu both teams has been mind boggling

I don’t understand that super conservative playcalling when you know you have such an inexperienced kicker. Pressure is the biggest killer of kickers and it’s hard to have more pressure than right now.

FSU really should stop running the ball. Maybe try some more screens or something to get Clemson to loosen up but running it is just throwing away a play at this point

The annoying thing to me is my watch. I wear my watch to sleep because I like to track my sleep and I like waking up to the vibration as opposed to noise. I have auto update on for my watch but it only will do it in the middle of the night while on the charger. I can’t tell it to do it mid-morning instead. So I always have to remember to manual update after putting it on the charger in the morning.

Holy shit I can’t believe the announcer was talking about Kendall “upholding the Briles name” and how “his dad, Art, would be proud”. Does he not rememeber what Art did (and likely his son)?

Us UCF fans are struggling. I’m happy to win the game and winning at Boise isn’t nothing, but the mistakes were ridiculous. And it wasn’t even Plumlee’s fault most of the time, which is unusual. I think McClain will be fine enough, but I don’t think we have a chance against KState without Plumlee’s big play ability, unless McClain shows the same. Ultimately I think this could be a really good team if they could be consistent and make less unforced errors. But I said the same last year and it seems to persist so I’m not exactly holding my breath. I think we’ll be bowl eligible, assuming we beat Villanova, we just have to eke out 3 conference wins. But I don’t see much beyond that unless something changes.

It’s mind boggling that they didn’t talk to him when he was hired and tell him to make sure he’s not seen around the school or it’ll cause a shit storm. It feels like these assholes just keep waiting for us to forget that they’re shitty people

I think this pretty much guarantees a loss against KState, but there wasn’t a ton of hope in the first place. Hopefully other than that, McClain can hold things together until JRP comes back. Hell, maybe we’ll get lucky and he still has the same playmaking ability but without the completely nonsensical occasional desicions.
