Reading this I'm just.... tired.

Maybe it can hallucinate some happy stories for me.

Gaming PC is in the living room for gaming and media center.

Laptop in my office up stairs for programming and I use Steam Remote Play for games that require keybmouse. Its nice because I can just unplug it from my dock and head downstairs with it if I want to browse on the couch.

I have a tablet too, but that's used solely for movies, YouTube, or when I'm DMing because the footprint is smaller.

So the dual trackpads are interesting. I use my right trackpad on my Steam Deck all the time for more mouse centric games. I appriciate that ZOTAC included them, but the execution is key here.

Personally, I have two steam decks in my house and I'm extremely satisfies with them. I dont think a new handheld will make me switch until we get another generational improvemnt in terms of battery or power.

I love that the market has so many options! Steam, Asus, Lenovo, MSI, Zotac, AYANEO, AYN, GPDWin, or even the chaper linux retro consoles! its fucking awesome. In a few years we'll see who really sticks with it, but for now, we're in a little handheld revolution. Enjoy it while we can.

Thank god we have some proactive thinking, although I guess this could be seen as reactionary to the book bans in the south. Don't really give a fuck about the semantics, this is just awesome either way.

Its definitely a nice to have feature. It didnt get regularly used because of wireless earbuds for me, but when I NEEDED it, it was always clutch. But I just keep a USB c dongle on my corded headphones now, its fine. Gets the job done.

Also for my wired IEMs, I use a wireless Bluetooth adapter. When I'm on the move I just need some noise not audiophile quality so its fine for me.

That is SO fucking cool.

The Shadow of Mordor games are pretty good turn your brain off action fun. But the tech behind it always blew my mind.

Like when you unlock the drake in the sequal and can fly over all the orc architecture or mountains, see anything that looks interesting and divebomb in. And it retains so much detail and fluidity during these transitions of gameplay and travel. I literally said last week that Shadow of Mordor is the best superhero game around, mainly because they truly capture that feeling of raw power and freedom.

I guess this is why it kinda has that feel!

Fair use is such a fickle thing. It isn't the catch all that people want.

Without express permission from Nintendo, including Pokemon in a mod is copyright infringement.

Is it transformative? Thats extremely case by case, but Nintendo would make the arguement that mods can act as a market subsitute for their own product (like the guys putting pokemon into palworld).

IANAL, this is all just my opinion.

But the Pokémon themselves are IP of Nintendo at the moment, so their inclusion is technically copyright infringement no?

Any of the Kairosoft games! The paid ones are full ass games. I usually get anywhere from 10-30 hours out of one.

Bunch of fun themed simulation games. Ive given them hundreds of dollars at this point, in even double dipping a little because they've been porting their games to steam.

The 24 hour peak numbers though... yeeeeesh
