I have a 32gb USB flash drive I got from Protectli with some other purchases I mad (it was cheap and is tiny and metal) I was surprised how fast it was, so I am using it for my ventoy boot disk and have 15+ isos on it.
I actually just used it last night and copied windows10, debian 12.5 and Linux mint isos
They all copied pretty quickly!

One thing I would suspect is they leverage third parties and share your phone number to get back additional known data about you or your interests or other activities which other companies have shared. I think in a way it ends up being a connection point for your data across many places.

Pay yourself first to keep your disposable low. (Define your saving goals and set up automatic saving into another sav account or TFSA/rsp or us alternative) run these transfers the same schedule as your paycheck.
Also, if you tend to spend fast and loose, you may want to Set an amount of time you must waitbefore you can buy the thing depending on cost.

It passed the test for me... I read up on it and liked it. I put it on a separate IOT wifi network and it's routed over vpn so not exposing my IP address. It works really well and very happy with it.
I read the privacy policy and thought it was pretty decent. And yes, all traffic was encrypted which was good enough for me.
