God how do you get out of bed every day.
God how do you get out of bed every day.
This seems as good a place as any to point out that I just perpetually have problems with flatpaks and snaps. Appimages less so but I wish they were better integrated.
Yes I understand why devs like these new packages. Yes I think that in the future they will be great. Yes they probably work fine for everyone else. I personally dislike them.
It's a dog whistle.
A comment uttered solely to engage voters who hate renewables but are ashamed about it.
Holy dry goods batman! I'm off to the supermarket to buy 3 pallets of toilet paper to start my new "arbitrage" business because I'm a fucking asshole like that.
I hate them all.
Are you conflating a claim that the system requires less than 256mb or ram with a claim that it can run on hardware with only 256mb of ram?
Maybe those two claims are not the same?
It's placebo, but there's nothing wrong with appreciating a phone that doesn't have a heap of junk you don't want. It's not going to improve performance at all, in the majority of cases, but it might put a spring in your step knowing that it's nice and tidy.
Well that was an emotional roller coaster.
I gave this a brief try but it seemed clunky in a gnome environment. Should I give it another go?
I thought universal meant everyone was entitled it it.
I can't remember the name but I think this is some kind of paradox.
Like the preventative measures we're so effective that they created a perception that there was no risk in the first place.
My goodness me. I think this might be the dumbest thing I've read all day. Well done.
I had it for a while but it's just too expensive if you, like me, tend tp give up on books part way through.
I have an e-ink notebook. The low refresh rate is intolerable for doing anything like menus or text input.
I like the idea of a minimal phone but I think e-ink is a deal breaker for me, and I suspect most others.
Recording a phone call without full disclosure isn't hard. It's unethical. I've managed to navigate my way through life without secret recordings and without getting myself fucked over by a telco.
Oh man.
Stremio + torrentio plugin + real debrid subscription.
I used Usenet and then torrents for 20 years or so but this stremio stack allowed me to get rid of all that *arr crap, also VPN, and private trackers et cetera. Not to mention a hot, power hungry home server.
Others will be along to disagree with me any moment, but for me this stack is infinitely better.
Downloading and storing stuff doesn't make any sense in the era of unlimited data.
I wonder whether having a recording has ever helped anyone when dealing with comcast. I'm doubtful. They're a large sophisticated organisation with an army of lawyers who will just do whatever they will do without regard for your recording.
There are few good reasons to record phone conversations
Oh great. This will fix everything.
Well yeah, NYT is profit driven, there's no nefarious intent.
