·2 months agoOnly read the first book years ago, but it portrays the Cultural Revolution as pure evil and the plot involves a scientist teaming up with a loose cannon cop to go kill some terrorists with his new invention. Some interesting alien civilization concepts, but I don't know. I don't get the hype.
It's persimmon season. Those always feel like a nice cozy autumn snack to me. I've also made some good oatmeals simmering them for a bit.

Still my favorite "WTF" line delivery in any film or show.
Do campaign volunteers not even have a bare minimum of guard rails up to stop them from texting some unhinged shit to voters?
Not as big an org as JVP I'm sure, but I've joined in several IfNotNow actions (another Jews against Zionism group) and in my experience the members in my local chapter are definitely not both sides-ing it.

My partner and I bought our home with a mortgage from our credit union. It probably doesn't matter anyway because loans often get sold to other banks on the secondary market without owners' input and I think that's already happened with ours, though we still pay for it monthly through our credit union.
