Final Fantasy XVI (2023)
it'll most likely be my goty next year! I usually switch up weapons between versions, but haven't decided what to main next. I haven't mained hammer yet so might go that next.
People die and Yuna dances. When will she stop dancing? When will it stop? Yuna won't stop dancing.
mainly been playing my gacha games lol. Need to do the 2.2 patch main story quest in Honkai Star Rail this week.
I've been playing some DOOM 2016 and having fun shooting demons.
Also been playing a little more of Street Fighter 6 since Akuma came out. Mainly finished up world tour story and been grinding levels there when I have the time. I'm excited about the season 2 characters and M. Bison coming back.
watched a streamer play it and the boss fights get a little intense and really difficult lol. looks like a good game!
I'm new to street fighter/SF6 and pretty happy about Bison. yeah I agree with you, not sure why they're releasing him just a month after Akuma. I figured they would have left him for last just like Akuma to keep up the hype going into season 3. I just know Terry from Smash Bros lol.

Mr. Trump your FIRED
did i just ruin my sleep schedule and watch 8 hours of Jenny Nicholson videos about theme parks? yes, yes i did.
finished SIGNALIS last week and i'd say that i'm mixed on it. I didn't like the main gameplay and this was my first survival horror experience so it might be a skill issue on my part. I didn't like the extremely limited inventory, constant back tracking, and that the zombies revived themselves after a while so it made killing them pointless on a blind playthrough. I understand that that's kinda baked into the genre tho. I'm gonna regret buying all those resident evil remasters on sale now lol
The aesthetics, graphics, and vibes were excellent and tense. I also liked the puzzles, especially the radio frequency puzzles. The story was told pretty convolutely, but i was engaged the whole time. The worldbuilding told through notes and other papers was pretty intriguing and interesting, but the anti-communism was pretty cringe.
so gameplay 6/10 for me, overall aesthetic and story 8/10
Akiyama's version of Baka Mitai is pretty good.
One of my favorites is Seonhee from Yakuza 7/Like a Dragon and I'm glad she is playable in Infinite Wealth. She's a great party member and has a lot of funny and cute interactions with the other party members. She also has a huge crush on Kiryu, but who doesn't.
Yes! Arknights is one of my favorite gachas that I'm playing rn. I've been playing for almost 2 years now. Rhodes Island is just a small organization that have their own goals for doing stuff and try not to rock the boat too much to not anger other nations and they disguise themselves as a neutral pharmaceutical company. The first arc's writing is pretty weak and slow since they were just trying to get their footing, but it does pick up around chapters 6-8. We kinda do the liberal both sides thing and brand Reunion as terrorists when they definitely got fucked over by Ursus (Tsarist Russia) and the infected are discriminated everywhere.
I'd say we are the good guys and Amiya is trying to save the Infected everywhere, but we're just a small faction and can't do much. The world of AK is huge and every nation is either fighting some supernatural apocalyptic threat or capitalism lol and the writing doesn't pull it's punches when criticizing capitalism and how much is sucks for it's citizens like the ones living in Columbia (America) or Kazimierz (Germany + Eastern Europe).
I just love the character designs and how they're not too weeb trash and sexualized and try to keep the tacticool theme. Also the tower defense strategy is really fun and you can use a lot of strategies to beat the stages. You don't have to use gacha 6*'s and 4* and 5* ops are pretty good too.

Cassandra my love
just beat DOOM 2016 tonight. Was really fun slaying demons with a shotgun. 9/10
I'm gonna gonna go full weeb for the next several weeks/months and start Trails into Reverie this week. Reverie is the epilogue of the Trails of Cold Steel 1-4 story arc. Then the next story arc starts with Trails Through Daybreak which is releasing next month so I'm gonna play that after Reverie. So I have about 200+ hours of anime RPGs to play lol
