Getting closer with an older neighbor of mine. She clipped my cat's nails yesterday and then I took her dog out when she was at the casino and bought her some CBD tablets for her anxiety. She also gets eggs from another neighbor of ours and distributes them every week. It's very nice.
I tried mushrooms for the first time today. A small dose, nothing crazy. And I don't know exactly if it was the mushrooms or whatever other energy was in my house this evening because I finally FaceTimed with my life-long best friend. She and I have been on different paths for the last 18 months or so and we have been in pain, missing each other and being unsure about how to reconnect. We finally saw each other's faces and talked for over an hour and she booked a flight to come visit me in a week!! For a whole week and we're going to smoke weed and regurgitate all of our emotions and reconnect in these new phases of our lives. I'm so incredibly happy, my beautiful comrades. I love you all so much.
I painted a simple mural on a blank wall in my house and it brings me such joy! Just some freeform wavy lines in funky colors, but I love it. I want to work my way into small outdoor murals and bring more public art to my city.

Started a new job this week and my new boss is so handsome it’s distracting sometimes. It might become a problem and it’s deeply embarrassing. Not the first time I’ve developed a little crush on my boss… Omg am I a sub????
You’re welcome! The culture around Lost when it was airing was really intense and there were people who went wild for all of the mystery and twists and turns and ended up really disappointed by the ending. I loved it, it’s a great character study and you grow to really care about some of the characters. It’s a good watch if you don’t obsess over the “mystery” of the island.
To cut through the actual events of the plane crash and survivors and all that and just get to the lore — There’s an island on the planet that is kinda the heart of the world and has some supernatural properties and needs to be protected. There’s a cork in the bottle that is the planet and the island is this cork. An entity known as Jacob is protecting the island and is searching for the next guardian. The survivors on the plane are potential guardians. The show ends when a new guardian (one of the plane survivors) is installed.
