  • I used to live in a rural area with a lot of small farms and there was this loophole where you'd pay a company for partial ownership of a cow, and then they'd deliver raw milk to you. This was their way around laws prohibiting the sale of raw milk, since if you own a cow you're allowed to drink the milk raw if you want. So yeah unfortunately there's easy ways to get it if you live near farmers and shit.

  • I'm in a similar boat. There is no anti-natalist program or anything, like I have no intention of chasing people around about it, but at the same time deciding to have a child, for me, seems like playing dice with someone else's life. Especially in the world we've inherited, but it's not like things were perfect 50 years ago or whatever.

With that said, all the anti natalist spaces I've encountered online have been full of cranks at best, xenophobes at worst.

  • I agree, but I think practically it works. People who are totally comfortable with slaughter probably aren't generally going to go vegan, but the vast majority of people would be traumatized by the experience. So it's not very useful like philosophically or whatever, but in most cases it makes sense for real people. I'm not making any sense.

And in general, even though I'm vegan, I just have no faith that talking to people about it will actually produce a better world or whatever, so idk why I'm even weighing in. I think revolution is more likely than animal liberation.

  • So I can remember being peripherally aware of the fartlow saga, like I remember that she was a hardcore 'lock necklace' Zionist and might have said something transphobic, but anyone care to catch me up on/remind me how it all started? It's all lore I was to busy for at the time

  • Don't ask my why but I watched an interview he did with wao mao on YouTube and that's what he claims. Half the time he seems like he's doing a bit, but he does claim the Taliban actually liked his videos, treated him well (i.e. he lived in similar conditions to what a Taliban soldier would get, was fed will, etc) and that he was only held for six months because of a strict policy from someone higher up the chain of command. The soldiers he interacted with, he claims, were apologetic. He also claims the last 2 months of captivity were due to the UK side of the equation fucking up paperwork or something, so he could have been free much earlier.

Also talks about his mom abusing/psychologically torturing him, which might help explain (not excuse) his brain worms.
