Kids in homes with meth use are substantially more likely to be sexually abused, physically abused, get diseases, burns and other physical damage. Being in a meth house is not a conducive environment for being a child. Plus secondhand exposure to meth as a child is not healthy and will often result in preteens with severe liver damage.
I'm sorry, but I know tons of people who have died after years of alcohol abuse. The human body is not capable of sustaining years of drug abuse and drugs are 100% capable of blowing your liver out. The stigma doesn't help anyone but that doesn't make humans able to sustain years of drug abuse.
