Can you elaborate on why new Linux users shouldn't use an Atomic system? I've been looking to try one so I have no experience as of yet. My Dad wants to try Linux with his upcoming new computer. I was thinking Fedora Kinoite as from what I understand, they just work and have a very low chance of breaking. He doesn't do anything beyond the basic computing tasks like web browsing, writing documents and spreadsheets, and archiving photos. Do you think it wouldn't be good for him?
I just came across this a few hours ago so what a coincidence. I haven't used it FYI.

The Viofo A119 V3 might be what you're looking for. It unfortunately doesn't have the best sensors that the company produces but it also doesn't have built in GPS, voice control, Bluetooth, or WiFi. Also the mic has a button to enable or disable.
Well thank you. That's very helpful for me
Okay so I understand you're saying both work well for what they are. What is the battery time like with your experiences? Also, you mention the Gnome power profiles a few times. Should I expect a similar experience with Kinoite and Plasma? Thank you for your feedback!
Mine just changed to replicate what you have
Mine still says "F-Droid."
Great! Thanks!
Retro Music will save where your music playing left off. I think it'll play movie audio too though I don't mess with that. AntennaPod will do everything you want very well but just for podcasts. Voice is a great Audio book player
I would like to see a revitalization of Open Place Reviews or something similar. When I found out about it it was already basically dead. We can already give very detailed tags on the type of restaurant and upload photos of it too but can't leave reviews to my knowledge.
What is ShitLib?
How is it's compatibility with Word and Excel now a days? Is it as good as OnlyOffice? I use OnlyOffice because of it's compatibility and it has worked flawlessly. I am totally down to try LibreOffice again.
Some people don't like that AdGuard is made by Russian's. I like NextDNS because it's simple to use and AdGuard was to heavy to install on my OpenWRT router. Never heard of Control D until now
Very reasonable, thank you
