      honestly think im gonna take a break from stories, because every story i really like (except for like breaking bad) ends with a godawful ending - mass effect series, game of thrones, naruto...

        I honestly enjoyed reading through Helck all the way to the end. It's one of the few comics I've read that I've thoroughly enjoyed the ending to other than ReLife. It's honestly getting rarer and rarer finding that cathartic feeling from completing a good story as I get older.

          all i wanted for the ending is for eren to be condemned as the genocidal maniac he is and for the remaining humanity to vow to never let something like this happen again.

          would it be a bit cheesy? maybe. would it be a nice, hopefull send-off that the current world desperately needs? also fucking yes. im so sick of all stories ending with "everyone is bad and nothing will ever be better"

            One of the reasons why I wanted to learn to draw is so I could make my own creative projects with the ideals I want to see, but this shit is hard to accomplish. It pisses me off he ended with this.

    Yeah I was reserving judgment until it was over but this last chapter was by far the worst in the series.

    I don't know if a worse ending was even possible.
