I've never seen a video of British police in a similar situation, but I'm pretty sure most police forces in countries as violent as the US would consider using deadly force against a knife-wielding person about to stab someone.

You've never seen it happen, yet you're assuming that it would go the way you think. Are you dumb?

No, I just decided I would be honest. Do you happen to have any videos of British police (or any police force) dealing with a knife-wielding person about to stab someone?

No, because no such video exists. What do exist are multiple stories on google re: UK police disarming violent knife wielders without lethal force.

And really, you needed to get 4 hits on this girl?

So, in your own words, "you’re assuming that it would go the way you think"? All of the UK police videos I've seen the person being arrested is only a danger to police officers, in this case they actively trying to stab a bystander.
But yes, 4 shots does seem excessive.

Yes, because assumptions made from the fact that UK police don't have body camera footage of killing someone over knife crime is the same as you talking out your ass about what countries "as violent as the US" do
