I get the whole "no ethical consumption" thing but is a fucking chicken sandwich really worth funneling money to people who will actively make transpeople's lives worse?

Are you really that strapped for greasy garbage to stuff into your mouth?

"no ethical consumption" is the biggest copout. People who shall not be named used it to justify cp and got dunked on for it, why does anyone think that's a valid argument?

Some people really are. As though it's the only place for an overpriced chicken sandwich.

Like, it's decent I guess. But it's not like it's far and away better than any of the other fast food slop that's out there. And yes, I consume the slop.

I know 'voting with your dollar' is lib shit, but come on.

Just my 2 cents, but you should resent "vote with your dollar" more than you seem to. It is the same thing as "personal responsibility" where it is intended to protect the powerful/status quo while putting all of the onus on individuals. You will never, never make a difference voting with your dollar and this just exists to kill or divert more meaningful action

edit: read more into the tone than I should've.

I haven't been able to convince my roommate to stop eating meat, but at least I got him to go to a different fried chicken place.
