      That's the thing that confuses me about the strategy. I guess I understand the idea that if things get worse for most people it'll be easier to get support for a revolutionary movement, but a lot of accelerationists seem to suggest either sitting back or actively helping the far right build power. Sorry, but the revolution isn't going to happen if we're all in camps.

      I mean, this is technically how China did it.

      Took two civil wars interrupted by a prolonged foreign military occupation / genocide. But forty years after it started! Bam! Real Full Blown Communis- oh wait, shit. It's :deng-smile: doing free market neoliberal reformism. Well... maybe give it another thirty or sixty years. Hope China doesn't go through a period of unprecedented growth and prosperity, tho. That would ruin everything.
