The financial industry’s reception of Joe Biden’s running mate reflects the belief that the presumptive Democratic nominee has so far fended off his party’s more progressive wing that has called for tougher financial regulation.

"I think she is a reasonable, rational person who has worked in the system," said Bill Daley, Wells Fargo & Co.'s head of public affairs and former chief of staff to President Obama. "Is she a progressive? Yes. Is she someone who wants to burn the building down? No. I think she wants to strengthen the building."

    Who the fuck did they think he was gonna pick? The ghost of Che? Biden's been bellowing about cooperating for over a year. They literally fund his campaign, the fuck are they relieved for?

      They expected the Democrats to dig up John Brown and parade his body as the new VP, just like they did with Biden

      I honestly think the money people are happy that there is a new entity that is going to hog the news cycle for a while. With Biden and Harris as the official team, they can make headlines for a while, and people can pretend Trump isn't destroying our country. And to the extent that they see it happening, they can ignore it and be happy about this.

      I do have to ask though, when is Biden or Harris going to make a promise to make the USPS robust and explain their election reform plans?
