Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think actual Nazis/Fascists conception of racial hierarchy isn't really as dependent on actual skin color as your typical Klansman/American CHUD. For the later group it really is 99% about the color of your skin, so anyone who gets sunburns is in the club even if they're like Polish or Croatian or whatever, but for Fash it's more about how you fit into their ahistorical head-canon about the development of civilization, so pale blonde Slavs are inferior barbarians but dark skinned black haired Persians are kindred Aryan brethren.
Hence I think a lot of Nazis would view Syrian Christian are part of the great "Mediterranean Peoples" or whatever.
