      Renting a van and driving 5 hours from Baltimore, MD to New Haven, CT and then patting yourself on the back for having driven across 5 and a half whole states like a big boy!

        Why are states so small? Quebec is about as big as Alaska, and Ontario is almost exactly as big as Texas and Montana (the second largest and fourth largest states) combined.

          The population is way way more dense in most states. It also has to do with a ton of politics about who got to own land or subdivision of land grants.
