Differences only lie in how vulnerable people were, how many hospitals and doctors per person there were. How many commorbidities each person has on average or whether they can afford a sick day or two in order to make sure they're not arriving contagious at work, but locking down until too late is a constant. The only thing capitalism can do is damage control, it's always doing damage control.
