Y'all got any thoughts on bugging-in and prepper shit that can help provide for your community in case things go to hell? Bugging out always rubbed me the wrong way, you're basically leaving your neighbors to die and betting on somehow getting to a less devastated area on your own. It just doesn't seem very neighborly.

I'm not too deep down the prepper hole but I've got a big bag of rice and a couple of gallons of water stashed away. I'm wondering if anyone has thoughts one, you know, how to be useful to the community during a severe emergency like an extended water or power outage, an interuption of highway shipping, or a hurricane (in Iowa, which happened, because climate change).
