Tribalism has to be the most infuriating word of the past decade to me. These people read one book and suddenly dismiss every issue as if it's Papua New Guinea. There's no policy nuance, no differing goals, no wider understanding of cultural anthropology let alone historical materialism, no mutually exclusive futures or philosophical frameworks or point where one thing can be correct and another thing incorrect. tribalism is when two different groups disagree and the more they disagree the more tribal it is
