Maybe it's just me, but apparently I'm a "slow" eater. I know my meds suppress my apatite but I still feel like I eat a normal pace.

Anyone else?

I'm the opposite, I eat absurdly fast. In those hotdog eating competitions that happened at the state fair, I was able to casually beat most people there.

I am literally just Dale Gribble

Yeah, stimulants kill appetite pretty hard, I'm not surprised. Adderall and Ephedrine are the classic weight loss solutions for a reason, also makes you sweat more.

Just make sure you drink tons of extra water to make up for it. A person with a normal diet and no medication can get away with not drinking anything, they're getting their essential hydration from food. You're putting out way more water from sweating, and you're not getting as much water from food.

And if you really want something to cancel out some stimulant side effects like appetite, taking magnesium can make quite a big difference.

The opposite, I inhale food like Kirby, but then I've been unmedicated for like ten years lol

I got the opposite problem, I can be ready for seconds by the time other people are three or four bites in.

Burgerlanders in particular scarf their food. Lunchtime at the workplace is a spectacle of speed eating. I reject this hyper-optimization (and fortunately am able to). But also, I have a small mouth. And also, I like to enjoy my food. And also, you’re doing a disservice to the digestive process by swallowing things whole.

I have ADHD and eat unbelievably fast, because food is tasty.

i eat faster than everyone around me because school lunch cafeteria habit/PTSD/anxiety. i have sensory issues with the sound or sight of other people eating (sounds of chewing/talking with full mouth and sights of chewed food absolutely immediately disgust me on a subconscious instinctual level, its like if someone screamed into my ear suddenly or hit me on the head really hard) so i always had to get it over with ASAP so i could go be somewhere alone.

I never had much of an appetite so Adderall reducing hasn't been noticable for me. It doesn't feel like I'm eating slow but if I keep tabs on the time I definitely am.
