支 is pronounced Zhi. It means vastly different things in different contexts. As a verb zhi means to put up or prop up. 公 Gong means public or public duties or affairs. My Chinese dictionary didn't have anything with these two characters together and from my very limited knowledge it doesn't mean anything.
