Howie will be on the ballot in more states, and the Greens already have somewhat of an infrastructure laid as a foundation we can build upon. The Green Party is the ideal leftist party to join and grow, unlike the Dems they WANT you, and will be happy to let you sit at the table and talk policy and direction of the party. This is where leftists need to coalesce, imo.

yeah. plus its possible to reform the green party into a socialist party, in fact hawkins is already doing that.

La Riva. If you're gonna vote for someone who won't win, you might as well vote for the party with Marxist politics, consistently good positions on imperialism, and a presence outside of elections.

Also, PSL is steadily creeping onto the ballot in other states. They just got on in Arkansas of all places, so who knows?

IF both were on the ballot I'd vote for La Riva. But I certainly wouldn't mind voting Green.

I'm going Hawkins. They're polling short of getting more federal funding and easier access to ballots but they're on more ballots so they have the better chance than PSL does.

I'm not sure that the Greens will ever get federal funding even if they hit 5%, because I can't see the DNC or RNC allowing the government to give any money to a third party.

Yeah possible, but it's probably better to force their hand to change the rules than not get a group there in the first place.

Hawkins is more likely to be on the ballot.

La Riva if it's just a protest vote and you want to be "morally correct," for whatever that's worth. You can write in La Riva in almost every state she's not on the ballot, but be aware that your vote will be reported in the media as "other."

Hawkins if you think you might help the greens get the 5% for federal funding or whatever percentage they need in your state to get automatic ballot access for state-level races for the next 4 years (between 2-5% where that's a thing, I think). Hawkins is good, and got a couple nominations from socialist parties before muscling into the Green primary. The greens, overall, are dogshit (but maybe co-optable -- they couldn't keep Howie out, despite protest).
