White tea is absolutely amazing, though I also like genmaicha quite a bit. I generally like most green teas, and sometimes like black teas but only in the morning.
:maduro-coffee: (we're going to pretend for now that Maduro is drinking tea here)
I keep changing my mind between lapsang souchong, pu-er, and Turkish white coffee. Probably one of those at any given time of day.
I had an Argentinian Spanish teacher who got half of us into yerba mate. She had the gourds and metal straws and everything. Haven't had it in years but I loved it.
I've been drinking hopped, carbonated iced yerba mate lately and it's dope
Pu-Erh tea is soo good. A nice mellow and earthy black tea. Perfect for Autumn
I've always loved matcha (since 2009, before the mayos found out about it)
It works soooo well with desserts, especially chocolate and ice cream. The tea is good too but it just really shines in sweets
I've never gotten into the real high-quality stuff so I'll just drink this shit til the day I die
I also like earl gray, peppermint, and matcha, but really most teas/tisanes are great. Except chamomile. Stupid dust flower.
I like a nice loose leaf oolong best. The go-to for me is tie guan yin.
can never go wrong with Dragonwell, but my favorite green might be Gyokuro
morning drinker is Early Gray with maple syrup and a little half and half, afternoon is either rooibos or peppermint, and in the eve I'll often have some Tension Tamer or Bengal Spice.
but also there's just a lot of tea
Tea used to be brought to Europe by caravan through Russia, thus the name. Exposing the bales of tea to campfires and rain gives it a distinct outdoorsy flavor.
Lemon tea is really great, peach and mint are also good but I'm no connoisseur. There's probably much fancier tasty tea. :grillman:
edit: for some reason "chai" seems really good but I don't know how much I've had it. I think you can get teabags for it but you're supposed to use milk if you're making it for real I guess.
I definitely like the oolong I've had, though I haven't tried much puer tea to be honest. I really need to get myself an adjustable kettle so I can make Chinese teas with the proper temperatures.
