  • As others have said, keep doing what you're doing. Let your kid play how they want and they'll figure out some of it on their own. Eventually, introduce the idea of trans and enby people in a passing way, not one fishing for an answer or suggesting something about your kid.

What I'll add is that you should look out for your kid when they interact with (or eventually interact with) kids who already subscribe strongly to the gender binary. Kids will share their opinions (and random shit that pops into their head) freely and there may be conflict or internalization of that binary or shame. You can't protect your kid from society's patriarchical gender binary, only prepare them and be there for them when there are conundrums.

  • This is the outcome of neoliberalism. It's been like this for decades but there weren't any pandemics to test the fragile system en masse. Though the poor can tell you similar stories about the hospitals they've had to visit before COVID.

  • Left libertarianism is used in a much wider sense than anarchism and includes people like Bookchin and liberals like Chomsky. There are left libertarians that don't believe in the deconstruction of key hierarchies, for example, so long as certain liberties are retained. Example: Peter Vallentyne's self-label is accepted despite him having zero economic analysis and generally supporting capitalism and liberalism.
