            Eh, good point. I can log back into my other account. face ID to my password manager wasn’t working. I’m just confused why it sounds like you think the sitemods don’t hate cops lol

              i dunno, the only requirements for a comm creation were high upvotes and a mod willing to do it, and we still don't have an acab comm.

              also, i pretty clearly never said that site mods don't hate cops, i said there was some reason that they don't want the acab comm created.

                It always takes a while to make a new comm because of mod vetting and them being volunteers. !labour@hexbear.net was like a month or two.

                I think @CARCOSA also said they line up new comm creation with mod drives now.

                I’m just saying it’s unproductive to jump to assuming they don’t want to do something. Advocate for it, 100%, but we don't have to get aggro at mods to make stuff happen here.

                  @CARCOSA has already acknowledged that we just need a mod team, and we had an offer of someone to moderate, and we still don't have a community.

                  there is nothing aggressive here, i'm just pointing out that this comm request has already met all the requirements, and still doesn't exist.

    I’d like a /c/acab along with some rules about every post being hidden behind a nsfw tag or some equivalent. Police hate spaces always just turn into an unending stream of videos showing pigs committing insane acts of violence against normal people and/or their dogs

      a community brings people's attention to something. there's no reason we shouldn't have it. people watching cops is a fucking good thing. and i hate having to have like tons and tons of responses and it requires a lot of work if i'm the only one dedicated to it. that's the point of having comms in the first place.

      it pisses me off that when i suggested in the megathread i got any kind of resistance to the idea.
