yeah this isn't like fucking aerosolized carfentanil blasted through the ducts Russian theater hostage crisis style. someone would have to pick up the vape pen and take a hit or have it shotguned directly into their mouth. and like, i just don't see a high schooler having access to pure fentanyl or a potent analog to mix into PG for vaping. that's like hardcore research chemical head circa 5 years ago when furanyl-fentanyl was available to order direct from China and you could get it so cheap you could create nasal sprays and other exotic delivery systems for fun cause you have a quarter kilo (no i never did this myself i avoided RC opioids)

You gotta be in pure demon mode to vape fent even if you somehow managed to accurately volumetrically dose it

lol i guess i'm just too old i didn't start messing with them until my 20s but it was a bit more obscure back then, the golden age of the early 2010s notwithstanding.

I avoided them too (except a very brief experiment with U47), and it's been years since I've been following any of that stuff, but I'm a bit surprised to hear that the Chinese fentalogues are less easily obtainable. What happened? Don't get me wrong, I'm glad to hear it - it just seemed like they were practically impossible to stop.

China basically started actually going after the labs and officially banned a huge list of chems recently. Everything has been driven very underground. Pretty sure the netherlands just banned a huge list as well so the research chem scene is imploding until new stuff is discovered.

A school resource officer, who wasn’t exposed to fentanyl, said the opioid was not contained within the vape pen’s cartridge, WVLT reported.

Although it's incredibly dangerous, it's unlikely for the average person to ever come in contact with pure fent. Usually it's mixed in with shitty dope, and in those cases, the big danger to the end user is the chance of hitting a hot spot where the fent is more highly concentrated. It's certainly a scary drug that shouldn't be used outside of hospitals, but the sensationalism that surrounded it for a few years caused a lot of misinformation that ultimately led to greater stigma for the opioid-dependent.

Even IF it genuinely was a fentanyl vape (does that even exist?) you wouldn’t be exposed unless you took a hit from it. And I would have to assume that a fentanyl vape (which again, I don’t think exists) would work at rates that make at least some level of sense for fentanyl consumption, because no one is going to make a vape that just kills you, because people don’t like dying and sellers don’t like killing their customers.

Next thing you know people are gonna be dying of fentanyl overdoses because a homeless person sneezed near them.

Gotta round them all up and put them in camps so they don't give everyone second hand fentanyl toxicity
