I was convinced that "what about white lives?!" people were being intentionally dense. I scoffed at people who tried to explain simply that white lives aren't under the same pressures as black ones.
These people really feel accosted by a slogan? What the fuck? They'd riot if McDonald's changed their slogan to "we're loving it". They'd probably have night terrors if the Washington football team changed their name to "the prides". What the fuck is wrong with them?
Is this basically all of rural America or is it usually not that extreme and out in the open?
