Afaik the main draw of NFTs and crypto in general is that you get all the benefits (not sure what these are) and drawbacks (losing exponentially* more money than you initially paid) of speculative economics and produce nothing but carbon emissions.

I will laugh if there's some NFT guy who actually believes that bullshit and genuinely thinks he owns the rights to Mario because he has the NFT and tries to sue Nintendo.
Nothing destroys their credibility more than choosing Mario in Mario Kart. Toad is obviously better.
