Nobody doing it was a Trump supporter or anything, but we were all jumping around like doomsayers proven right during apocalypse movies, and maybe getting some sick pleasure that Bernie was avenged and the Dems paid the price for their arrogance

By the morning, the mass hysteria had worn off, and absentee ballots started turning the tide towards Biden, causing us to realize that Trump's failure during the pandemic had altered our earlier predictions of "only Bernie could beat Trump"

Couldve been worse, conservatives have been holding on to that night for 15 months now with the "stop the steal" movement, but I'll never forget that moment where we collectively lost our minds over an election that, in hindsight, didn't really change much except the color of the boot on our necks

    I think the republicans would have cheated if it was Bernie. They would have been shit scared of him. I could see him getting people who were previously apathetic to voting turning out to support m4a and the green new deal.

      I think the democrats would've cheated if it was Bernie, too. CNN would've called it "the least important election of our lifetime" and a lot of regular donors would've withheld their money. :bernie-pout: had a good run but we don't live in a real democracy so :shrug-outta-hecks:
