I genuinely think the commentators we're sincere.
But that's just the propaganda model at work, the media structure would never let someone who is actually anti imperialist reach the position of being able to talk on NPR
They had a dude who wrote for Repeater on their history podcast once; I caught the tail end of it in my mom's car and when I heard the author's name I was like "wait a minute I've heard that guy on TF too!"
