I love Mulholland Drive because it actually captures the feelings of being in a very vivid dream. I know there's more going on (or less... honestly I don't care) but that alone in a high budget movie is really awesome and I appreciate that he brought that kind of bizarre imagery to life
second that on Mulholland Drive. I was so enthused about it when I first saw it that I arranged with my friends to watch it again with them on my birthday. I had seen Inland Empire with one of them before, though it was without subtitles so we understood nothing at all in the Polish parts and that ruined the movie. Mulholland Drive went a bit better but they didn't get it, I did get to geek out and explain the whole thing when they asked though :gaddafi-happy:
Mulholland Drive is not just my favorite Lynch movie but possibly my favorite movie. Lost Highway is also just excellent.

The cowboy sequence is like the perfect encapsulation of dream logic, it makes so much sense while saying nothing at all.
Also. Dune is literally the most underrated movie of all time
