Twin Peaks Season 3 is the pure distillation of David Lynch, amazing from beginning to end.

Love his other stuff (Eraserhead, Fire Walk with me, TP Season 1 and 2, Mulholland Drive, Blue Velvet) but TP Season 3 is his best work imo.

When I started Twin Peaks S3 I thought it would be the typical 90's nostalgiabait shit with all the "remember THIS from the original series???" stuff, but hoooo boy, it was the complete opposite lol. Every scene feels like that one Season 2 episode 1 scene with the butler except even longer, like that part where it's just a wide shot of a dude sweeping a floor for 10 minutes. Masterpiece. The fact that Lynch went out of his way to make an entirely new Twin Peaks season just to shit on nostalgia and leave fans on an even more confusing and frustrating ending than before is incredible.

I love Twin Peaks and I was eagerly waiting for more of the same. What I got was different and even better than anything I had hoped for.

The entire got a light sequence and nuclear holocaust was the most memorable shit I’ve ever seen.

As an owner of a rescue pug, this is the best thing in the movie to me.

Fire Walk WIth Me, by far. I love horror as a genre, but no other movie has managed to make me feel this insanely anxious and uncomfortable and outright terrified before. It's like being stuck in a nightmare you can't wake up from. And holy fuck, Sheryl Lee is one of the most underrated actresses to ever exist.

Twin Peaks Season 3 is probably his best. Fire Walk With Me has one of the all time best Lynch scenes (the Pink Room sequence). Lost Highway is probably my favorite non-FWWM Lynch film. Eraserhead inspired the best movie of all time, The Shining, so that deserves a mention.

Twin Peaks, Fire Walk With Me, Lost Highway, Mulholland Drive are peak Lynch for me. Blue Velvet, Wild At Heart are good, Eraser Head and Inland Empire I didn't quite understand and I need to watch them again.

No, but you should watch his stuff. Start with Twin Peaks or Blue Velvet if you aren't into surreal art, they're probably the least out there.

My favourite David Lynch thing was an interview he gave where he was recounting scouting locations for some film way back in the day. He said he got in the car and it was the smoothest car ride he's ever had.

One thing I have to say, don't like the parts in his movies where he is clearly just being horny, Inland Empire where a girl just lifts her shirt and waves her tits to the camera? Alright David keep it in your pants lets get on with the movie please.

Blue velvet and TP season 2.

The quinoa happening and Mulholland drive also deserve honorable mentions. Eraserhead is fantastic, but doesn't feel good to watch. The other stuff is also rly good.
