Historically? Its hard to say. But I've definitely heard the r word a lot more recently. I also think you can definitely look at the stuff around Columbine, the efforts to ban violent video games, etc around the Clinton administration as a more woke period followed by a more edgy period post 9/11 that didn't really end until the 2016 election.
I mean, I honestly think we're on a path towards it becoming acceptable again. There's an edgy to woke to edgy cycle in terms of what's culturally okay. I think it's trending back towards edgy again.

Government jobs do this all the time. I love working government jobs-they have significantly better benefits and time off-but it takes forever to get them and there are some positions that get posted just because they legally have to.

Twin Peaks Season 3 is probably his best. Fire Walk With Me has one of the all time best Lynch scenes (the Pink Room sequence). Lost Highway is probably my favorite non-FWWM Lynch film. Eraserhead inspired the best movie of all time, The Shining, so that deserves a mention.

I've got the Xbox One X, which performs somewhat worse but not by much. If you don't have a good media plug in to your tv and stream a lot of content, its a way better media player than the PS5. As for games, I donno. Not much I've played on it and enjoyed. Got it out of hype for Cyberpunk in February 2020, then it got delayed and then it sucked. Haven't found the Xbox exclusives to be very good and Gamepass hasn't gotten many games that I have wanted to play.
I've enjoyed toying around in Unity but have taken a break due to getting a new job and a toaster computer. I started working on some shitty 2.5d action game using Pokemon Mystery Dungeon sprites since I have zero artistic talent, but like I said, I haven't touched it in months.
Hoping to buy a new computer and get back into it soon, it was enjoyable.
Call of Duty will absolutely go exclusive in a few years. Warzone and any similar Free to Play successors may end up multiplat, but I really would expect any paid games to be exclusive.
