You know how I can tell this columnist (or anyone else for that matter) is a selfish prick? Seeing COVID only in terms of personal risk and not societal risk. I wear a mask more so I don't potentially get more vulnerable people sick.
It really is shocking to me how many Americans can't see that at all. And it's not exactly rocket science. It's about as simple as can be.

yeah, masks are basically completely useless at stopping you from getting covid, everyone should wear masks so they don't spread the disease to other people
