    the mask of humanity falling from capitals face right down into my fucking soul

    we currently have like several times the rate of deaths we had in like 2019 and nobody is thinking about it anymore, because covid is over. it's incredible to think we entered this new treshold of excess deaths and... nothing happened, just more people are dying. I said it before but this was zizek's worst case scenario.

    my word he really is a phd in medical ethics. this is horribly depressing to think a human wretch like this has a phd in fucking ethics.
