Local :reddit-logo: is bursting with them right now due to some college swimmer or something. So so so so many "I support trans people / think they deserve a place in society / have a trans friend BUT (transphobia)"

Seen someone talking about Micheal Phelps' natural biological advantages and that seems to shut them up, but other dunks would be appreciated

Shit, anti-scientific, transphobic post. Trans women have not run away with womens sports, they are still massively under-represented in them. Why are you parroting conservative talking points?

It's a 20 minute old account named "bansrimpossible". I wonder if there could be some bad faith in their argument?

Truth is, if someone is biologically male and undergoes puberty fully before transitioning, they’re almost certainly gaining an unfair biological advantage over most women.

categorically untrue. you should educate yourself on this, the video i sent you in the other posts goes into more detail. this kind of biological determinism is misogynist and transphobic at the same time. You'd expect trans women to be constantly dominating anything and everything they compete in but reality doesn't bare that out. We only hear about the cases where they win in the media bc of transphobia and it's completely overblown. Transwomen literally aren't allowed to win.
