:duck-dance:
I have seen more bees in the last 2 years then I have for a long time.
Now you share something positive, even if it's just about some nice food you had today, or the ducks in the video above.
We deserve a little positivity as a treat every now and then, right?
Last year a critically endangered ferret was cloned from frozen tissue and is now sexually mature. Its genetic makeup is completely unrelated to the very inbred population that remains, so with its offspring she will help restore the species’ diversity.
Cloning and GMO stuff is often pretty shitty, but seeing it used outside of the corporate lens is incredibly heartening.
Wife is pregnant. First kid inco. We're very excited :duane: :fishe: :FrogPog:
I recently got into a relationship with a woman for the first time :crush:
Been going on about a month, it's nice, not super complicated like I thought it would be :comfy:
It looks like the duckling at 0:22 propelled itself with poops. :data-laughing:
I’ve started to get my sleep schedule in a more humane place, just by listening to my body instead of powering through it.
Left to my own devices my sleep schedule gets pushed back by about an hour per day, so I end up nocturnal about half the time. Having school or work in the morning keeps things regular for me 👍
i also do the spinning sleep thing, currently on a 6am to noon schedule, oops
I did some ice skating today with my bf and it was fun. Also it was warm outside and nice to walk about. Saw a big bee bombling about bigly
Me and an old buddy decided to follow a long-time dream of ours and are finally writing the dnd campaign book we always said we wanted to. Gonna put it up on itch.io or something when it's done.
Nature is unironically healing where I live. Birds of prey are coming back, saw some cool eagles, buzzards, hawks, kites and falcons recently. And some cool herbivore birds, I've even named some that regularly visit.
Also just got my other vaccine dose/ Booster. And all that happened was a tiny bit of arm soreness. Given my chronic conditions I feared much worse. Still going to be double masking with my ffp2/N95 masks and fabric mask over it.
Just started group therapy for trauma on top of my twice-weekly individual therapy and it's going well so far! This is the first "social" thing I've done in a while because I've been sick and isolated, and I'm hoping it pushes me to do more virtual socializing in the future.
I only have one more week at the job I hate before I move in with my girlfriend in a different city!
My artichoke plant is looking strong and I'm about to get the first 'choke of the season. It's also has a bunch of ladybugs 🐞 fucking on the leaves.
Nice, I've started getting into ornamental plants in the past few years. Recently made an arrangement of young succulents that I'm a little proud of.
there's a tree outside my place that had a couple hundred bees flying around it the other day
