Nah but I think the first one had a really solid intro. These games are a mindfuck in general tho. My old roommate loved them and I watched him play through all but the third one

Quick tangent but one of the biggest things I hate about gamers is when they can identify the problems with the video game industry and capitalism, but instead of naming it that they blame it on consumerism instead. But if they say capitalism instead of consumerism they would have to confront the fact that the system is broken, their lives are enslaved, and they have no autonomy. But those don't feel good to think about so consumerism is the copium.

Oh my god this is so dumb. I hated 3 and was happy with the idea and seeming implication that Sora would no longer be the focal character.
Sora is a boring character who was cliche twenty years ago.
Instead of making new characters in this world, they just focus on the most bland character ever.
Then again the series is about going into Disney franchises, so the concept was flawed from the start.

KH does have a bunch of FF characters in it. Sora fights Sephiroth pretty frequently
I tried to post a synopsis of Kingdom Heart's story here when three was coming out. I copied and pasted it from kotaku or something (I didn't write it myself.) It took something like 7 comments to get through most of it before I gave up (I kept hitting the character limit), and of those ~20,000 characters or whatever, like 6 words made any sense.
Elsa not being a fighting member of the team was a fucking waste. Even more when they just made it into a literal shot for shot of the movie, but with Sora and pals.
