  • Don't forget Melina/dsplayer/whatever their original account name was creating a bunch of alt accounts to harrass people with and saying all kinds of vile things.

I think I remember dsplayer or dsplayer IIII whatever the account was called. One of the last things they posted was like this anime mousepad and then they asked for their accounts to be delete not long after (At the time if you pressed the delete account button, it would just delete your comments).

There was also another user whose name I can't remember, but he sent nudes or something to people and refused to stop, which was very strange because he seemed like a normal person. And there was a trans woman who posted a suggestive video and was banned. I don't think she was a bad person, just strange.

  • There use to be a subreddit called VeganCirclejerk, something like that. They were invited to join hexbear dot net. It didn't work out, both Hexbear users and the VCJ didn't like each other, wreckers made a bunch of troll accounts. Since VCJ users were fewer than Hexbear users, the VCJ got kicked out. Theres a lot more drama related to this but it's nothing worth remembering and it's all stupid

  • I think Xi personally is very interested in good relations with Latin America and Africa. He used to grant a lot of loans for Argentina before Milei got elected. Now it seems Xi is very interested in good relations with Brazil (Huge Market, Protectionist Economy, the CPC wants closer relations with the Workers' Party, huge Asian Population and Influence, closer military ties with Chinese troops training with Brazilian troops and US troops in there), theres going to be the G20 meeting in Rio, and it seems Xi really wants to talk with Lula.

  • I think that would mean war. I don't think the US can block ships with food, fuel and medical aid. They can block ammo, guns and guns parts (the DPRK used to sent guns to Cuba during the 1990's - 2000's but they US didn't like that the DPRK was selling guns to Latin American countries like Peru, Ecuador and Colombia). All they will probably do is mark these ships as "breaking the embargo" and refuse to let them sail on US owned ports (Russia shouldn't care, they already are banned from US ports).

  • I remember that the closest the US came to overthrowing the Venezuelan government (apart from the 2002 coup, which did remove Chávez from power, but there was a counter-coup a few days later) was in 2019. Russia sent some soldiers and warships to help Maduro, then Trump was defeated by Joe Biden. Initially, Biden decided to follow an agreement that Spain and Norway were making, then Colombia and Brazil joined in, which would guarantee that the US would remove most of the sanctions against Venezuela, which lasted until 2024. The US returned with the sanctions, except for the oil ones. Biden also didn't pay for the repair of Venezuela's oil extraction industry, as he had promised.

  • I think Petro still has a strong and loyal base, which is why all the coup attempts have failed, and who is going to run against him? I think Uribe can't run due to legal problems, and Petro still has the important but not good support of the protestants. I think the US has already given up on Venezuela, Maduro has become the Assad of South America, no one can remove him.

Lula is very intelligent, unlike Bolsonaro, he is already planning on talking to Trump via phone (Lula had a better relationship with Bush than with Obama, at least Bush didn't spy on him). I don't know much about Nicaragua, but I think the Sandinistas have controlled most of the country since the 1980s, and that has never changed. But I think this is very bad for Boric, he's probably fucked.

It seems that Trump really doesn't like Bukele, but we'll see if Trump actually does something against him or if he just writes some really angry letters, like what Biden was doing. Trump may cut off all aid to Ecuador and Peru, which would be very funny if he just threw away everything Biden did. And he might even tell Milei to fuck off, which would mean the end of Libertad Carajo man

  • I think so, Brazil invited Cuba and Bolivia, while they vetoed Venezuela (and some sources say Nicaragua, but others say Nicaragua wasn't even in this Pre-List). Putin (Russia is the current president of BRICS) agreed with Brazil (who will take over next year) and Cuba joined the partner states program. What Cuba really wants is to join BRICS Bank to get some aid and investement without the sanctions fucking with them.

BRICS approves Cuba, Bolivia, and 11 other countries as 'partner states' - Brasil de Fato

The group of countries invited to join the BRICS as "partner states" includes Turkey, Indonesia, Algeria, Belarus, Cuba, Bolivia, Malaysia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Thailand, Vietnam, Nigeria, and Uganda.

On 24 October 2024, an additional 13 countries, namely Algeria, Belarus, Bolivia, Cuba, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Nigeria, Thailand, Turkey, Uganda, Uzbekistan and Vietnam, were invited to participate as partner countries. No membership invitations were extended.

  • I think nowadays they are still doing cheap retro games consoles since theres a market for this. They also created some exclusive MasterSystem games like some Woody Pecker game, Show do Milhao (Brazilian who wants to be a millionaire) and Duke Nukem 3D. They also did the Brazilian dub of Blader Runner (the game) and Starcraft 1.

Isn't that tied into they have the rights to manufacture the Genesis in Brazil, and import fees make other consoles super fucking expensive?

TecToy used to be Sega representative in Brazil. They used to translate games in Brazilian Portuguese (very rare during the 90's) and make some games/hack roms about popular Latino movie/comic/series characters like Monica (Popular Brazilian Comic series that started during the 1960's about kids going in adventures, even have a Manga version) and El Chavo/El Chapulin Colorado (Mexican comedy Superhero, very popular all over Latin America). I think they were pretty much Sega of Brazil during this time (I believe nintendo simply didn't give a shit about Brazil so it was a huge market for Sega and eventually Sony), and went on as far as give support for the dreamcast (theres a popular 2000's copypasta about the guy in Brazil who really "liked" his dreamcast and asked tectoy for help after he spilled some suspecious thing into his dreamcast lol.)

I think they still release these cheap NES and Mastersystem/MegaDrive clones in South America to this day, mostly retrogamers buy these nowadays, since you can easily find and buy PS2, Gamecube and original Xbox in any eletronics selling place. I never heard about the Zeebo so no idea wtf is that. Nowadays it seems like videogames got cheaper (or the 1980 - 1990's Gamer culture in Brazil are now all old and have jobs), enough for games to be dubbed and adapted for the Brazilian markets.
