I know fascism and all its in-denial variants are nonsustainable, even in ideal conditions, and would always find a target purging until the entire rotten thing collapsed, but until that point, I dare ask you to try to visualize what chuds would see as "making it," as "winning," what a world would look like that had no current-day slurs for them to blame everything on.

My best guess would be a grossly unexamined and poorly understood imitation of pre-apocalypse society in a contemporary Fallout game, but then I wonder if even then they'd also need to have the hated Chinese threat on the horizon and lots of machismo and weapons directed at it. I strongly believe there can be no peace, ever, in the chud brain.

      Ehhh, Heinlein had weird politics but I think the world of Starship Troopers is a bit too diverse and democratic for actual CHUDs. If anything it’s more of a weird centrist boomer lib utopia. The protagonist is Latin American, the Earth is globally United, and indeed anyone can serve in the military and become enfranchised, this is too inclusive for actual CHUDs and Fash, they need a ideal aristocracy. Even if requiring military service is a prerequisite to voting, that’s still voting.

      Unironically, yes, some chuds I know do want exactly that. No wonder Verhoven was so disturbed by how his satire of fascism was received by so many.
