Not be a Freudian, but what was your experience with competition as a child?
This feels like something that has roots in how you were socialized with regard to competition.

Feelings don't care about facts. We'll still be blamed
iirc, he was already walking with a cane before the strike
Gonna have to dilly dally even harder if I'm gonna be late for my engagements
The clocks are going back an hour, not forward. If anything you're gonna be early.
Tbh, a movement merely fighting for the actual completion of the bourgeois revolutions would still be radical
I don't know enough Chinese to comment, but the difference between a sling and slingshot isn't about size or use. The difference between sling and slingshot is what propels the projectile.
A sling extends the length of the user's throwing arm, giving the projectile more power.
A slingshot uses elastic to propel the projectile. Therefore, as elastic didn't exist for most of history, is a modern invention.
Maybe SCMP's error is rooted in Chinese language but I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't since this is a common error of all English speakers. I'd guess people commonly confuse them in English because of similar names and because both tools have a pouch which holds the projectile.
Too bad they won't ban remote learning charters.
Situation seems bad and escalating
(Also, SCMP mislabels a sling as a slingshot. Disappointing. I like slings.)
I've made some close friends in my 20s and 30s, though it becomes harder. I suspect there are a variety of factors for this (atomization under capitalism doesn't help, needless to say). In any case, people become more guarded and have less time. I think to develop a really deep friendship takes disclosure of things we normally keep hidden. Just having shared interests or goals isn't enough.
Disclosure is also part of romantic relationships, which would be my guess your uncertainty regarding the "line"
Are you asking this in a pro-zionist way or are you genuinely curious what people think about landback?
it really is gonna be 269 to 269,
God willing
Oddly, I have gotten very few human texters, or even bots, this time.
It's mostly just messages blasted out with donation link.
In PA there are hundreds of thousands of Puerto Rican voters
Puerto Ricans are all US citizens, they can't be "illegals" so I don't think that logic applies in this case. If the comedian had similarly insulted Dominican Republic or Mexico or Venezuela, then what you describe would be the calculus.
In this case, I think all that matters is (1) how much PR republicans identify the comments with Trump versus with the "comedian" who said them, and (2) how much PR republicans can just do the cognitive dissonance thing Trump's evangelical supporters do (many of whom are Puerto Rican).
Might be normal, but its also why these institutions aren't useful in resisting genocide
Arguably, most of Western Romans were all Germanized already anyway
There's a politics for that!
Aita is a new (or at least previously uncategorized) genre of fiction.
So, definitely fake
A conclusion of the Chair's (false) argument is that appealing to the working class doesn't win elections, therefore why should they be appeal to in the future
Dems preparing to move ever rightward
