We've all heard of "bad trips." How far have you tempted fate?

I dropped acid and watched Requiem for a Dream once.

One time I thought it would be a cool idea to go for a hike and watch the sunset from a mountaintop (this specific part of the experience was pretty cool, to be honest). Then I realized, oh fuck I'm in the middle of the woods in the dark. I was completely sober but this had be bugging out bigtime. Not sure how thrilled I'd be about marching into the woods in the dark.

I lost the copy of NIN - With Teeth that I borrowed from the library up there and found it all shriveled and fucked up a couple months later. :/

Probably better to be camping than hiking

100%. If you've got food, water, shelter, and time, you're going to have a much better time than if you have neither of those things. If you have a couple beers too, you're in paradise.

I imagine hiking could work, but it would either need to be an all-day affair, or you'd need a designated driver. You would need enough food and water to spend like 8 hours out there.

Got into a car with someone who was also on acid and drove on the highway for the longest 20 minutes of my life. Some muscle car directly ahead of us has their tailpipe partially fall, causing huge sparks to fly over the road, sparking directly in front of us. Shit sucked, absolutely worst idea ever and never getting in a car again tripping

One time my buddy had to ditch his car because he got a flat with no spare and was too far to make it home. I went and picked him up, and then my exhaust dropped into the street before we even left the parking lot. I ended up ripping the AC cord off of a cheap appliance in my trunk and using it to tie the exaust up to the frame.

lmao. I went in basically with the knowledge that "this is the movie where that epic music on these YTMND memes comes from." In the end, I turned out alright. I've definitely had worse trips. There are two condenders for "worst trip." Either the time I stayed up for 40 hours, dropped two sugar cubes, got an additional 8 hours of no sleep then watched Scarface, then went to visit the inlaws - or the time I took mushrooms after going on a hike with my buddies and getting covered in ticks, found one on me in my bed, and spent the whole night thinking every slight itch was another bug.

I have a buddy who said he was going to drop acid and watch Hotel Rwanda, but I'm pretty sure the coward didn't actually do it.

First time I did acid I thought I had completely come down and got in my car to drive myself and my friends home. Seemed fine and then the road ahead started peeling up off the ground. 0/10 experience, would not recommend

One time I accidentally drove my rental car on the ancient Christian pilgrimage route of the Camino de Santiago.

I watched Baraka and then spiraled and thought I died and was having an out of body experience in Hell's waiting room.

Maybe I should try Samsara next time.

Took a ten strip and withered within an agonizing blue hue all around me while making deals with the devil all night long. ...As a 19 year old while my parents were down the hall.

But then a few weeks later did the same thing except i was able to let go and it was great, so... idk, i guess it wasnt really sketchy i was just in a sketchy mindset

I know it's pretty, baby, but I didn't take it out for air.
