Its worldbuilding alone is so intense and gigantic with so many moving parts it is actually fucking wild.
It is a fantastically large world to immerse yourself into if you need to do so. It has helped out me and my friends so much that 4 of us have one piece tattoos. I have 2, including my entire upper right arm. Obviously i am biased towards the media, as i quite like it a lot. But if you want fun pirate nonsense in a vastly detailed and gigantic moving world, it is the one to watch. Though i really recommend reading it, as the pacing is WAY WAY better.
