As a trans person, this isn't basic politics, it's not my side vs there's like it's a sports game, it's life or death. Vaush has been saying for months how this anti-trans crackdown is only going to accelerate as Republicans need a new scapegoat. I am terrified to step into a red state because of this.

I'm just imagining how privileged I'd be if I was a straight white male. Some of my co-workers are happy my company is opening an office in Texas because they want to transfer to work there.... meanwhile I'm just like "WHY THE FUCK WOULD YOU WANT TO GO THERE, CALIFORNIA IS WAY MORE ACCEPTING" but then I realized they don't have to worry about that because they are white and male..... oh the joys of being the majority.

    like, I mean that literally and non-hyperbolically. not like "everyone I disagree with is a pedophile." nor like "pedophiles are still human beings and should be offered counseling and treatment", like,"actively opposes the age of consent and supports adults having relationships with minors."
